Why do I write? Wow, what a difficult question to answer. I had some trouble starting this essay solely because of how broad the prompting question is. The hardest part of this assignment was actually sticking to the question. I know where my interest in writing and reading comes from, but that still doesn't tell me why I do it. 

I did like this essay because I was reflecting. I think reflecting is one of the most important things to do so this made me look back to my childhood and think back to my Senate Page experience.

It was difficult to tie all of my thoughts together. In my head everything makes sense but
